Learned another lesson this morning. It was a beautiful morning here and I was fulfilling my duties of parking the lawnmowers and atvs out front for display. The lessons I leaned first hand are as followed:
Lesson One: When the grass is wet, stay away from the edge of the BIG ditch.
Lesson Two: A zero turn mower cannot back out of a 5 foot ditch when the grass is all wet!
Lesson Three: Just ask dad for help

We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day. Monday morning, Aaron and I along with two other friends packed up the truck and loaded two fourwheelers. We headed to the old mines past Atitkokan. I wasn't sure what to expect in giong there but I knew it must be pretty great by the way Aaron was so excited to go back there. When we got there we drove to the very top and unloaded our ATVs. We decided that we wanted to get to the very bottem where the water was. There was a beautiful, clear lake way down. We started heading along these old roads that were red from all the iron. We... (more)

I copied this off of my sister's blog. The funeral was on Tuesday, August 1. It went well and what is strange is that the funeral was on the day that grandpa goodman passed away exactly ten years ago.

Guess what???? Some of you already know....but i'm sharing it on here anyways. I had the most exciting expirience in my life so far. :) Last Saturday I buckled myself into a stock car and raced against four other girls in the powder puff race. When I got there I had already aranged for myself to have a car but I had never sat in one before. I got there and watched the races and then headed down to talk to Anthony (the guy who was letting me use his car) He showed me how to drive and gave me some tips. The tip i followed the best was: "put your foot on the gas full when you are on the... (more)

Last weekend I took Dave and Aaron to the Seventh Day Slumber concert. It was pretty great. I had a lot of fun. The best part though was that it was a surprise. Aaron had absolutely no idea until we had his bags packed in my van and I started driving the opposite direction he thought we should be going. :) It was pretty sneaky...and lots of work....but worth it i think

Just thought this was kinda funny... It came out of the "buy-sell insert Fort Frances Today!"
Children's perspective on Love
How do you decide whome to marry?

You got to find somebody who likes the same stuff. Like, if you like sports, she should like it that you like sports, and she should keep the chips and dip coming. --Alan, age 10
What is the correct age to get married?

Twenty-three is the best age because you know the person FOREVER by then. --Camille, age 10
No age is good to get married at. You got to be a fool to get married. --Freddie, age 6
How can you tell if two... (more)

When people just call me up and say i'm coming up to your cabin...i hate it when people feel like they have to be invited.
the American tourists that flow through. I love working at a gas station so i can visit with them. some of them are so funny adn do you know what most of them are surprised to see in our store (they dont have it in the states) take a guess.
